THE MUSEUM SHOP

THE MUSEUM SHOP

Around 100 of Norway’s foremost craftspeople are presented in Snøhetta’s architectonic surroundings. People who purchase crafts are acquiring a unique work; only one of this piece of jewellery, this ceramic object, or this glass was made. Each item has been crafted by hand. It has gone through a long process from an idea through to the design, casting, colouring, enamelling, glazing, waxing, burning or blowing, for instance, until it emerges as a completed and numbered article for sale in the museum’s art shop.

The art shop sells jewellery such as rings, necklaces and bracelets with designs ranging from the simple to the more sculptural, in both traditional and untraditional materials. Here you can find everything from lovely art glass, carafes, sculptural ceramic jars and plates, to attractive cups. The handicraft products in the museum shop are characterised by broad artistic scope and high quality.

The museum shop has its own Facebook page. Please come and visit us!
